SETTING UP YOUR POP ACCOUNT IN OUTLOOK

1. Go to Start click on Control Panel.

2. On the left hand side, click on Switch to Classic View (Windows XP only).

3. Click on Mail.

4. Click on Email Accounts

5. Choose Add new e-mail account and click next.

6. Choose POP3 and click next.

7. Now fill out the fields with the necessary information. Enter "mail.servername.com"

for both Incoming and Outgoing mail servers.

Note: Your Email address will be your first initial and your last name. @yourdomain.com (See Example 1)

and your user name will be your first initial and last name. (See Example 2)

Example 1: jsmith@yourdomain.com

Example 2: Joe Smith = jsmith

Your default password is: password (unless otherwise requested)

8. Now select More Settings….

9. Select the Outgoing server tab and Check the box next to "My outgoing server

(SMTP) requires authentication" Then Click Ok.

10. Finally Click on Next then Finish. You now have completed your outlook Client

setup.
